SHINE Lab

Social-emotional Health In Nurturing Environments Lab

Elizabeth Loane

(She/Her)

Elizabeth is a junior at Purdue University where she is double majoring in psychological sciences and developmental and family science. She is interested in researching early childhood cognitive and emotional development to improve the quality of life and education for kids. This will be Elizabeth's first undergraduate research experience, and she is excited to learn about experimental design, lab organization, and coding. Elizabeth is a member of Purdue's Psi Chi chapter and is a student employee at the Laboratory Development School on campus. Through her work at the preschool, she fell in love with watching kids learn and grow and is very excited to contribute to research that can provide accessibility to help children thrive.
In her spare time, you may find Elizabeth playing tennis, trying a yoga class at the Corec, or attending a meeting at Purdue's juggling and unicycling club. She is grateful for the opportunity to be part of SHINE and cannot wait to contribute to important research!
